Drive and Sand Gnats Postponed on Friday

Teams will play a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 4:30 PM

Greenville, SC - Friday night's game at Fluor Field between the Greenville Drive and Savannah Sand Gnats has been postponed due to rain. 

The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday. Game one will begin at 4:30 PM, and game two will begin either 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one, or at 7:05 PM, whichever comes second. Both games are scheduled for seven innings in length. 

Fans who purchase tickets to Friday's game can exchange those tickets for any remaining Drive home game this homestand. Should the Drive make the South Atlantic League postseason, fans also have the option to exchange Friday's ticket for a playoff game.

The Drive's starter in game one of the doubleheader is TBA, and Savannah will start RH Ricky Knapp (7-3, 2.48) in the opener. The scheduled pitching matchup for Friday, which was Greenville RH Ben Taylor (0-2, 3.40) and Savannah RH Martires Arias (7-5, 2.43), will be the matchup in the nightcap.
