Fireworks and Grand Slam Giveaways Highlight Plans For Upcoming Pawsox Season

For the first time, the PawSox will have a special theme each day of the week

The Pawtucket Red Sox will present eight Fireworks Spectaculars, Xander Bogaerts Bobbleheads, and a special theme each day of the week in 2016. The club's full promotional schedule will be announced during the winter. Special Holiday Ticket Packages are now on sale, and a special Opening Day Holiday Package will go on sale this Saturday at 11 a.m. in conjunction with the PawSox Enchanted Village event at McCoy Stadium.

The popular post-game fireworks shows will be held each of the six months, including three straight nights in July. 

* Friday, April 22 at 6:15 pm vs. Lehigh Valley 

* Memorial Day Eve, Sunday, May 29 vs. Indianapolis at 6:05 pm 

* Saturday, June 11 - Star Wars Fireworks Spectacular vs. Louisville at 6:05 pm 

* July 1, 2 and 3 - Traditional Patriotic Fireworks vs. Columbus

* August 6 vs. Buffalo at 6:05 pm - Super Hero Night with fireworks to follow 

* Labor Day Eve, Sunday, September 4 at 6:05 pm vs. Buffalo.  

Also for the first time, the PawSox are offering date-specific Mini-Plans that allow fans the same seat for as few as 7 and as many as 36 games at a special rate. One of these 7-game plans is a Fireworks Mini-Plan, which includes 7 of the above 8 fireworks games--for just $77. PawSox Mini-Plans, group plans, flex tickets, and other packages are on sale now.

Several fan-favorite giveaways have been established for the upcoming season, many of which will be held on Saturday nights. Highlights include:

* Saturday, May 7 vs. Rochester at 6:05 pm: PawSox Travel Mug   

* Saturday, July 16 vs. Charlotte at 6:05 pm: PawSox Replica Jersey

* Saturday, July 30 vs. Scranton/WB at 6:05: Xander Bogaerts Bobblehead

* Saturday, September 3 at 6:05 vs Syracuse: PawSox Baseball Card Set

PawSox theme nights for each day of the week will range from traditional baseball-related events to community gestures to innovative promotions designed for families and children. Themes for each day of the week will be announced in the coming weeks. The 2016 PawSox promotional calendar will be updated frequently and fans can watch it unfold throughout the off-season on pawsox.com.
