$1.2 million in audio and video upgrades to amplify Aces Ballpark

February 11, 2016

RENO - The Reno Aces are thrilled to announce a variety of ballpark upgrades for the 2016 season, highlighted by a $1.2 million high-definition Daktronics video and audio system.

The distributed sound system will feature 73 loudspeakers strategically placed throughout Aces Ballpark, bringing the audio closer to fans to enhance speaker comprehension and impact. The 1080 HD compatibility will result in improved broadcasts in the suites, restaurants and concourse, along with better visuals for games aired on my21.

The high-definition additions continue with soccer-ready camera ports, offering fans unique side and corner views to maximize the viewing experience, a new tricaster system allowing for future camera expansion and a new 3Play system providing more detailed replays from all camera angles.

Aces Ballpark will have new and improved looks in the suites, suite-level hallway and home plate gate entrance. The Sierra Arts Foundation's Galleries at Work artists will provide paintings, prints and photos for the suite level. The partnership with Sierra Arts also includes permanent 34-foot murals on each side of the home plate gate entrance completed by two local artists, set for revealing on April 7 during the Aces' home opener.

On top of the high-definition and Sierra Arts upgrades, all four concession stands located on the concourse will be re-branded with the following names: Comstock Grill/Sweets, Biggest Little Grill/Franx, Panino and Burgertopia.

"Enhancing our fans' overall experience at the ballpark has been and always will be our top priority," said Reno Aces and USL Reno president, Eric Edelstein. "We've strived for the best of sports experiences in our industry and community, and proud to have the support and investment of our ownership in fulfilling this vision."

For fans interested in reserving their greater experience at Aces Ballpark, season-ticket plans are available, including full-season, half-season and the brand new Atlantis Lucky 7s-game plan. The family-affordable plans begin as low as $12 per game.

The Aces open the 2016 season Thursday, April 7 at 6:35 p.m. against the El Paso Chihuahuas at Aces Ballpark. Ticket packages are on-sale now at www.renoaces.com or by calling (775) 334-4700.
