JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns are celebrating Fan Appreciation and Labor Day Weekend in FUNdamentally Different fashion at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. For the season's final two fireworks shows - Friday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 4 - fans may purchase an all-you-can-eat picnic and ticket package for $15 per night.

Limited seats remain for individuals and families to log onto a special link at www.jaxsuns.com (enter password "fireworks" for Friday; enter password "fanfun" for Sunday) to purchase picnic packages that include reserved seats and the all-you-can-eat buffet on one of the concourse-level picnic decks for either Friday or Sunday. Picnics are served for 90 minutes, beginning one hour before scheduled first pitch between the Suns and Mobile BayBears.

Friday Sept. 2, is the season's final NAPA Family Fireworks Friday. For the final Red Shirt Friday of the season, the Suns will wear red jerseys to support military personnel. The game is also presented by Gator Country 99.9 WGNE. Gates open at 6 p.m. for the 7:05 p.m. game. The picnic will be served from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the third-base side Grillman's Party Plaza. PURCHASE TICKETS: FRIDAY, SEPT. 2 (Password "fireworks")

Sunday, Sept. 4, is Fan Appreciation Night presented by SMG, 95.1 WAPE, X102.9 and 96.9 The Eagle with postgame fireworks. An early gate opening - 4:30 p.m. - precedes the 6:35 p.m. game. Kids and their families can play catch on the field at 5:30 p.m. for the final Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday, and Baptist Health also presents Home Run for Life Night. The game is also presented by Channel 4 The Local Station. The picnic will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the first-base side Winn-Dixie Picnic Deck. Reservation space is limited. Packages are $15 per person and include access to the all-you-can-eat cookout buffet and a reserved seat for the game on the same night. Children ages 3 and under who do not require a seat do not need a ticket.

Normally only served to groups of 24 or more people, the cookout menu of all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, beans, cookies, tea and lemonade is available at its most affordable price yet for individuals and families to purchase.

The Suns' five-game Fan Appreciation and Labor Day Weekend homestand includes Mavericks Live Thirsty Thursday, Sept. 1, Military Appreciation night presented by Budweiser and Community First Credit Union Night Saturday, Sept. 3, and VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home with Dreams Come True, First Coast News Day, and Marlins Monday, Sept. 5.
