First pitch on Tuesday is 6:30 p.m. Playoff tickets are available only in person at the box office beginning Saturday noon.

On Friday, the Mets pounded out 14 hits. David Thompson hit a solo home run in the seventh inning and then jacked a two-run homer in the eighth to put the game away.

The Mets score four runs over the first two innings. Kevin Taylor's RBI ground out in the first made it 1-0. John Mora smoked a run-scoring triple in the second and Jhoan Urena followed with a RBI double.

That was plenty for Conlon. He only gave up an infield hit and three walks. He struck out seven.

Alex Palsha pitched two hitless and scoreless innings. Ben Griset tossed a perfect eighth.

The Hammerheads didn't collect their second hit until the ninth inning. The Mets entered the ninth inning up 9-0.
