Win over Salt Lake halts six-game slide
July 22, 2012
Salt Lake City, Utah - Every Fresno Grizzlies hitter (52-47) in the starting lineup contributed with a hit, walk, or RBI as they snapped a six-game losing streak with a 6-4 win over the Salt Lake Bees (49-52) on Saturday night at Spring Mobile Ballpark.

The Grizzlies scored four times in the second inning. It started on a walk by right fielder Todd Linden, who then moved to third on a double by second baseman Charlie Culberson. Following that, catcher Jackson Williams delivered a sacrifice fly to center field which made it 1-0. Centerfielder Ryan Lollis followed by belting an RBI triple off the right field wall to make it 2-0. Stevenson slipped in front of the mound and threw wildly home, which allowed two runs to score. Stevenson was charged with an error, while Romine got credit for a single that made it 4-2.

Bees first baseman Paul McAnulty (15) homered to right off Stevenson to lead off the sixth to narrow Fresno's lead to 4-3.
