International League
Eddie Bonine, Toledo
2-0, 1.26 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 14.1 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 12 SO
After his return from the Detroit Tigers, Bonine made another splash in the International League. He simply looked dominant in both of his starts last week against Rochester and Pawtucket, allowing two earned runs in 14 1/3 innings. In his second start back with Toledo, Bonine tossed seven shutout innings and struck out seven opposing batters. Bonine is 11-2 with Toledo this season.

Pacific Coast League
John Wasdin, Memphis
1-0, 0.69 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 13.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 19 SO
John Wasdin has put in work for Memphis this season as both a reliever and starter, but pitched primarily out of the bullpen. Last week, however, Wasdin was thrown back into the starter role for the first time since April due to the promotion of scheduled starter Mitchell Boggs. He didn't disappoint. Wasdin allowed one run in his two starts last week and struck out an astounding 19 batters in 13 total innings. On Monday, his first start in months, Wasdin fired seven perfect innings seven innings with 11 strikeouts before allowing two hits and a run in the eighth.

Eastern League
Brett Cecil, New Hampshire
2-0, 0.77 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 11.2.0 IP, 9 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 14 SO
To start the season Brett Cecil was a member of the Class A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays. What a difference a few months can make. After a pair of starts for the Double-A Fisher Cats in which he allowed one run and struck out 14 batters, the former first-round Draft pick of the Toronto Blue Jays was promoted to the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs today. With New Hampshire, Cecil was 6-2 with a 2.55 ERA.

Southern League
Cesar Valdez, Mobile
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 7.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 10 SO
Valdez finally got his first win with the BayBears and he did it in dominant fashion. Valdez, who started the year with the Class A Advanced Visalia Oaks in the California League, made his fifth start for Mobile Friday. He tossed seven scoreless innings and fanned 10 Suns in the process en route to his first win with Mobile. Valdez now sports a 1-2 record with Mobile and a 2.54 ERA.

Texas League
Amalio Diaz, Arkansas
0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 8.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 SO
In his third start with the Travelers this season, Amalio Diaz showed Arkansas what he is truly made of. After losing his first two starts in Double-A this season, Diaz pitched eight scoreless innings and struck out nine batters against Springfield Thursday, but a blown save cost him the win. Diaz, who started the year with the Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, is 0-2 with a 4.00 ERA with Arkansas.

California League
Sean O'Sullivan, Rancho Cucamonga
2-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 15.0 IP, 9 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 11 SO
Sean O'Sullivan has had a fantastic year with Rancho Cucamonga, but his last two starts were simply dazzling. In the first start of the week against Stockton, O'Sullivan threw seven shutout innings and Sunday against Visalia, he tossed eight scoreless. Over the course of the past two starts, a total 15 scoreless frames, O'Sullivan reduced his ERA from 5.33 all the way down 4.63. He is 13-4 with a 4.63 ERA on the year and has won his last five starts.

Carolina League
Luis Atilano, Potomac

After moving around quite a bit to start this season off, it would have been understandable if Atilano wasn't settled in with Potomac. While he started off his tenure with the Nationals as a starter, he only saw one more start the next month in the midst of a bunch of relief appearances. When he got thrown back into the rotation on July 11, both Atilano and the team haven't looked back. In his two starts last week he got wins in both and has won the four starts he has made since returning to the rotation.

Florida State League
Zach McAllister, Tampa
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 7.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 SO
Zach McAllister has had an up-and-down season, to say the least. He has yet to put together a winning streak or a losing streak, as wins and loses seem to alternate on his resume this year. After losing July 20, it was only natural McAllister got back on the winning side. In his start Satruday against Dunedin he threw a seven-inning complete-game shutout with four strikeouts. Though his record may not be the prettiest thing in the world (5-5) McAllister sports a 2.23 ERA with Tampa.

Midwest League
Jeremy McBryde, Fort Wayne
2-0, 1.50 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 12.0 IP, 11 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 14 SO
On Monday McBryde tossed five scoreless innings and led Fort Wayne to a 1-0 win over Quad Cities. In his next start against the Peoria Chiefs, McBryde threw another solid six frames and allowed two runs en route to the win. McBryde, who also has time in as a reliever for Fort Wayne this year, brought his record up to 5-7 with two consecutive wins last week.

South Atlantic League
Bruce Billings, Asheville
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO
Coming off a start in which Bruce Billings gave up four runs and lost, he brought his best stuff to the table Wednesday when he started against Lakewood. Billings hurled a no-hitter against the BlueClaws -- the first time the team has been no-hit in franchise history -- and the Tourists cruised to an easy 10-0 win.

Appalachian League
David Francis, Danville
1-0, 1.64 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 11.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 19 SO
If David Francis planned on entering his first season in professional baseball without turning heads, his scheme isn't working. In Tuesday's start against Pulaski, Francis pitched six scoreless innings en route to the win. The most impressive part? Francis fanned 16 of the 18 batters he faced and didn't allow a hit. On Sunday Francis was back at it again when he pitched five innings and allowed two runs, but didn't factor in the decision. Francis is 3-1 with a 1.88 ERA so far this season.

New York-Penn League
Brandon Braboy, Staten Island
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 11.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 10 SO
It may have taken seven starts, but Braboy finally got a win. Despite never giving up more than three runs in a start with Staten Island this season, Braboy never got enough run support to grab a win, and fell victim to seven consecutive no-decisions. When he got the start Saturday, however, he didn't need any run support. Braboy pitched six scoreless innings against Brooklyn en route to his first victory of the season. He is now 1-0 with a 3.13 ERA this year.

Northwest League
Carlos Hernandez, Vancouver
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 7.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 SO
In seven starts this season Carlos Hernandez has never allowed more than two runs. But with Vancouver's offensive struggles, Hernandez had yet to earn a win in five starts. Monday when he took the mound against Yakima, he threw seven scoreless innings and earned his second consecutive win, improving to 2-0 with a 1.82 ERA for Vancouver.

Pioneer League
Dexter Carter, Great Falls
2-0, 0.90 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 10.0 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 SO
Dexter Carter started this season as a reliever with Great Falls but was converted to a starter just a few weeks in. It took almost all of July for Carter to earn his first win as a starter and last week he got two. Carter pitched a total of 10 innings and allowed one earned run en route to both of his wins. He now sports a 3-1 record with a 2.35 ERA on the year.

Daniel Hudson, Great Falls
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10 SO
Entering last week, Daniel Hudson's longest outing was six innings. When he took the mound Saturday against Billings, Hudson tossed six innings and allowed one earned run and struck out 10 opposing batters. Hudson is now 2-3 with a 3.48 ERA on the year.
