Salem-Carolina Rained Out on Tuesday Night

Doubleheader Scheduled for Wednesday at 5 PM
April 15, 2014

Zebulon, NC (April 15, 2014) - Tuesday's game between the Salem Red Sox and the Carolina Mudcats has been postponed by rain. Consequently, the two clubs will play a doubleheader on Wednesday at Five County Stadium, beginning at 5 PM.

The twin-bill will include a pair of seven-inning tilts, separated by a 30-minute intermission. It will be Salem's first doubleheader of the 2014 season.

The Red Sox will be looking to extend their streak of consecutive road wins to 13. Salem has not lost on the road since August 21, 2013, winning a dozen straight away from home, including the playoffs.

Salem and Carolina are both 6-5 through 11 games, tied for second place in the Carolina League Southern Division behind Myrtle Beach, who's won seven games in a row since an 0-4 start.
