Summary
The Senators started their final road trip of the regular season with a 5-1 loss to the Hartford Yard Goats at Dunkin' Donuts Park. Hartford scored in the first, third and fifth innings off Sens starter Tyler Mapes. Harrisburg had scoring chances in the third, fourth and fifth innings but failed to take advantage. Ian Sagdal drove in the lone Sens run with a double in the eighth inning. 
On Capitol Hill
•   Tyler Mapes started and went 4.2 innings allowing nine hits and five runs. Two of the runs and four of the hits came with two outs and no one on base in the fifth inning.
•   Jhonatan German retired all seven batters he faced.
•   Greg Holland pitched a scoreless ninth inning.
With the Gavel
•   Ian Sagdal and Luis Garcia both had two hits, and both doubled. Sagdal drove in the lone Sens run with his double in the eighth inning.
•   The Senators went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven runners in scoring position.
Filibusters
•   This is the Senators first visit to Hartford since May. 
•   The double by Sagdal was his 29th this season.
•   Adrían Sanchez singled in the fourth inning which was his 999th hit in the minor leagues.
