Guzman than gave up a bases loaded double, but only surrendered one first inning run thanks to an 8-4-2 play at the plate.
Jupiter's bats have been quiet as of late, but that all changed in the 2nd inning. Following a Stone Garrett triple, Boo Vazquez doubled, scoring Garrett to tie things up 1-1.

Rodrigo Ayarza sent a double of his own down the right field line, plating Vazquez to take the 2-1 lead and would never look back.
Brian Miller added an RBI single to give the Hammerheads a 3-1 lead after two innings.
Daytona got a run back in the 3rd inning to make it a one run game. That didn't last long as John Silviano belted a no-doubter over the fences for a leadoff home run in the 5th inning, putting Jupiter ahead 4-2.
Insurance would be added in the 8th inning for the Hammerheads. Vazquez tripled to right-center field to score Garrett. Chris Hoo followed by driving in Vazquez with a single to give the Hammerheads a 6-2 lead. Than Miller lifted a sac-fly to left field to score Ayarza, putting Jupiter on top 7-2 going into the 9th inning.
Hammerheads pitchers fanned ten batters on the night, including two Kyle Keller strikeouts in the 9th.
Eight different Jupiter players recorded a hit on their way to a 7-2 series clinching victory over Daytona.
The Hammerheads hit the road Friday for a three game weekend series in Fort Meyers before returning to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium on Monday for three games as the visiting team vs Palm Beach.
