IronBirds storm past the Cyclones

FENTER SHOW: Gray Fenter almost went 5.0 innings of perfect relief. The only hit Fneter gave up came in the form of a
TORRES COMES THROUGH:Two out hitting was the difference for the 'Birds tonight. In the 7th,
MULTI-'BIRDS: Robbie Thorburn, Adam Hall and Alexis Torres all had big nights for the IronBirds. Each collected multiple hits as Thorburn had a double, Hall had three singles and two RBI's and Torres collected two hits and two RBI's. The three hits Hall had tied a career high for him.
'BIRD WATCHING: The IronBirds improved to 5-0 when they collect 10 or more hits. The 'Birds had 10 hits by the 7th inning tonight and it helped lead them past the Cyclones.
Adam Hall raised his average from .200 to .225 after his second three hit game of the year. Hall roped two of the singles and dropped a bunt down for a third hit.
Gray Fenter came into tonight with a 5.21 ERA. That average is now down to 4.50 as he threw the five innings giving up only the one run.
