After weather permitted the game to be postponed Friday, Bradenton and Jupiter met for two, seven inning games Saturday.
In game 1, Joe Dunand ripped a single to score Cade Gotta in the 1st inning giving Jupiter the 1-0 lead.
That would unfortunately be the only offense of the game the Hammerheads would be able to generate.

However, RHP Jorge Guzman took the hill to start for the Hammerheads, who is the Marlins 3rd ranked prospect according to MLB Pipeline.
Guzman shut down the Marauders through four innings of work, fanning seven batters and displayed a fastball ranging from 98-100 mph.
Still holding the 1-0 lead going into the 7th inning, Jupiter was three outs away from their third shutout of the season, until a two-run home run was crushed to put Bradenton on top, 2-1.
Jupiter dropped the first game 2-1, but got revenge in game 2.
Sam Perez was on the mound and locked in from the first pitch. He tossed six scoreless innings, while giving up just two hits thanks to tremendous catches by Gotta and Dunand.
The offense would go hitless through five innings, but would come to life in the 6th. Newcomer Eric Gutierrez sent a liner into the right field gap for a triple.
Chris Hoo drove Gutierrez in a on a sacrifice fly, giving Jupiter a 1-0 lead.
Dunand then added insurance with a two-RBI single, plating Justin Twine and Brian Miller to extend the Hammerheads lead to 3-0.
That would be all RHP Lukas Schiraldi would need, as he shut down Marauder hitters in the 7th to snap Jupiter's two game losing streak.
The Hammerheads look to even things up Sunday as they square off with Bradenton in the series finale.
First pitch set for 1:00p.m.
