Pérez launched a walk-off, two-run home run over the left field wall to propel the Charlotte Knights to a thrilling 9-8 win over the Durham Bulls on Wednesday night in game two of the six-game series from Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte. The home run was his team-leading 11th of the season. In addition to winning the game with his home run in the bottom of the ninth, Pérez went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs in the game.

It was a solid offensive night for the Knights, who scored eight runs over the final four innings of the game. At one point, the Knights trailed the Bulls by a score of 5-0. It wasn’t until the bottom of the fourth inning when the Knights scored a run. The team continued to battle back from then on.

The Knights received a second home run from right fielder Micker Adolfo. His solo blast in the bottom of the seventh inning traveled 466 feet and hit the left field video board.

The Knights tallied a total of nine hits on the evening and three home runs.
