FRESNO, CALIF. -- The Sacramento River Cats and Fresno Grizzlies will play two on Friday, May 17. After a couple of unseasonably wet California days, Thursday night's game was called due to wet grounds at Chukchansi Park.The first game of Friday's doubleheader will be a seven-inning contest beginning at 5:05 p.m.,

FRESNO, CALIF. -- The Sacramento River Cats and Fresno Grizzlies will play two on Friday, May 17. After a couple of unseasonably wet California days, Thursday night's game was called due to wet grounds at Chukchansi Park.
The first game of Friday's doubleheader will be a seven-inning contest beginning at 5:05 p.m., followed by a second seven-inning game starting 30 minutes following the completion of game one.
River Cats right-hander Dereck Rodríguez (0-0, No ERA) will make his 2019 Triple-A debut, facing Grizzlies' righty Mario Sanchez (0-1, 14.14) in game one tomorrow evening. Sacramento is expected to go with left-hander Ty Blach (1-1, 6.14) for game two, while Fresno will turn to right-hander J.J. Hoover (2-0, 5.66).
