Senators Announce Front Office Promotions

The Harrisburg Senators, the Double-A affiliate of the 2019 World Series Champion Washington Nationals, are excited to announce four front office promotions as the team readies for the 34th season since returning to the Eastern League in 1987. 

Randy Whitaker has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager. Randy started with the Senators in November 2007 as the General Manager. In his role with the team, Randy oversees corporate sales department and works closely with the Washington Nationals. He previously worked for abc27 for 20 years in various sales and marketing capacities. He's a longtime fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Randy is married to Carla and has two grown sons, Brent and Reagan. 
Tim Foreman has been promoted to Vice President, Facilities. Tim is the longest tenured full-time Senators employee, having started with the team March 1994. Tim graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1989, where he played baseball, and then with a master's degree in 1991. He oversees everything that happens at FNB Field including non-baseball events such as soccer games, concerts and the Nitro Circus. Tim is married to Melissa and has four children, Rio 25, Alex 23, Brinley 19 and Brad 16. 
Jessica Moyer has been promoted to Assistant General Manager, Group Sales and Ticket Operations. Jessica was hired as an intern in January 2008 and as a full-time employee in January 2009. She started as a ticket sales associate before moving into group sales. She oversees the Senators group sales and box office. Jessica volunteers with the American Cancer Society with various local events and is involved with Relay for Life. She's married to Ben and together they have a dog, Bentley. 
Ashley Grotte has been promoted to Assistant General Manager, Marketing. Ashley began her Senators career as an intern in January 2010 and subsequently full-time in September 2010. She has been instrumental in building the Senators social media identity over the years. In her current role, she oversees all Senators marketing, communications, community relations and game entertainment. Ashley lives in Harrisburg with her boyfriend (Matt) and dog (Ella).
The Senators offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily during the offseason. The 2020 home opener is Thursday, April 16, against the Reading Fightin Phils.
