Summary
The Senators scored three times in the fourth inning in a 3-2 win over Erie Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. The Sens took three of four from Erie, all one run games. Three Sens relievers combined to shut down Erie retiring the final 13 Erie batters. The first three Sens batters reached in the fourth inning and they all scored. Michael Taylor and Ian Sagdal both doubled in runs while Nick Banks drove in the final run with a single. Erie's lead over Bowie is down to one-half game pending the outcome of Bowie's game with Altoona. 
On Capitol Hill
•   Kyle McGowin went 4.2 innings and allowed three hits and two earned runs. He struck out five and walked four. He left with two on, two in and two out in the fifth inning.
•   Jacob Condra-Bogan inherited the jam and struck out the first batter he faced. He went on to retire all seven batters he faced. For his work, Jacob earned the win and is 7-4.
•   Andrew Istler pitched a perfect eighth inning with two strikeouts.
•   Aaron Barrett retired the three batters he faced in the ninth inning for his 30th save.
With the Gavel
•   Michael A. Taylor had three hits including a double while driving in a run and scoring a run.
•   David Masters had two hits, one of which was a double.
•   Ian Sagdal chipped in with a double. 
Filibusters
•   The teams split their season series at four games each.
•   The Senators have won six of seven games.
•   The final regular season road trip is to Hartford where the Sens play a five-game in four-day series.
