The Harrisburg Senators are looking for a Public Address Announcer for its home games, starting with the 2020 season. The PA Announcer's duties include announcing starting line-ups, all game action, public address announcements, contests, and other duties as assigned.
The PA Announcer is the main voice of the Harrisburg Senators while in the stadium. The PA Announcer works closely with the Director of Game Entertainment and Game Entertainment Coordinator to create a fan-friendly and entertaining experience at FNB Field. Requirements
Applicants must submit the following to Scott Ciaccia at [email protected] no later than February 5:
Interviews and auditions with selected candidates will be conducted at FNB Field. Date and time of interview and audition will be communicated through email with chosen applicants. Selected final candidate will be expected to attend training days leading up to the Senators home opener on April 16th.

- Strong vocal talent
- A unique and definitive personality
- Strong knowledge of baseball rules and positions
- Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment
- Comfortable announcing to large crowds on a microphone
- Comfortable announcing complex names from a variety of ethnic backgrounds
- Able to attend all home Senators games and arrive at least one hour and fifteen minutes prior to scheduled game time
- Receptive to both positive and negative feedback
- Ability to be spontaneous and react quickly as appropriate
- Experience working as a PA announcer in sports, television or radio is preferred

- Resume detailing relevant experience
- A minimum of two references specifically related to applicant's ability to perform required duties
- An MP3 of applicant's voice performing in some capacity
