Toros del Este


OF FELIX PIE (w/ Iowa 2006-09)


Pie holds a .306 average through 21 games with the Toros, while adding eight runs, five doubles, one triple and seven RBI. He has three multi-hit games through his last 10 contests.
The now-33-year-old was in the Cubs system from 2002-08 after signing as a non-drafted free agent in 2001. After his Cubs tenure, Pie went on to play for the Orioles, Indians, Braves and Pirates organizations. His last season in affiliated ball was in 2013 when he hit .138 (4-for-29) in 27 games for Pittsburgh.
LHP DAVID ROLLINS (w/ Iowa 2017)
Rollins went 0-0 with a 6.23 ERA (3ER/4.1IP) through four games for the Toros, last appearing on Oct. 28. He pitched 2.0 innings in his longest outing on Oct. 23, while tossing 0.2 frames twice. 
Rollins went 3-4 with a 5.79 ERA (27ER/42.0IP) for Iowa in 2017 before he was released in August. He signed with Seattle on Aug. 15 of this season and went 0-3 with a 9.61 ERA (21ER/19.2IP) in four starts for Triple-A Tacoma. He is a free agent.

Aguilas Cibaenas


RHP BRAD MARKEY (w/ Iowa 2017-18)
Markey began his winter league stint on Nov. 20, allowing one run through 1.0 relief inning. He holds a 7.71 ERA (2ER/2.1) through his first three games in the DWL. Both earned runs have come via the long ball.
Markey was selected by the Cubs in the 19th round of the 2014 draft out of Virginia Tech. He split the 2018 campaign between Double-A Tennessee and Iowa, going a combined 3-2 with a 4.45 ERA (28ER/56.2IP) through 33 games.
LHP MICHAEL ROTH (w/ Iowa 2018)
Roth ranks second on the Aguilas Cibaenas roster with 28.2 innings pitched, beginning the season in the DWL on Oct. 15. The lefty is 1-3 with a 5.34 ERA (17ER/28.2IP), eight walks and 15 strikeouts. Roth spiked his ERA nearly 1.50 points after allowing five earned runs through 2.0 innings over his last two outings. Prior, he had posted a 4.05 clip (12ER/26.2IP) through six starts.
Beginning the season with Iowa in 2018, Roth posted a 1-2 record with a 3.03 ERA (10ER/29.2IP) through seven games (5GS) before he was traded to Texas on May 25. He was originally selected by the Angels in the ninth round of the 2012 draft out of the University of South Carolina. He made his major league debut for the Angels in his second professional season.
RHP DAURY TORREZ (w/ Iowa 2018)
Torrez has pitched to a 1-1 record and a 2.25 ERA (4ER/16.0IP) in 13 games in the DWL. Three of his four earned runs allowed came in a single outing on Nov. 24.
The righty split the 2018 season between Iowa and Double-A Tennessee, going 4-4 with a 4.28 ERA (36ER/75.2IP). The Cubs signed him on Dec. 22, 2010 as a non-drafted free agent. After playing eight seasons in the Cubs organization, Torrez is a free agent.

Leones del Escogido


INF RYAN COURT (w/ Iowa 2018)
Court recently began his stint in the DWL and took the league by storm, going 11-for-25 (.440) through his first seven games. He has reached base in all seven contests and has at least one hit in six games.
The infielder spent 2018 with Iowa, batting .262 with 11 home runs and 62 RBI. He led the team in doubles (21) and RBI. Court was selected by the Diamondback in the 23rd round of the 2011 draft out of Illinois State University. He is a free agent this offseason.
RHP CARLOS PIMENTEL (w/ Iowa 2014-15)
Pimentel has collected a cool 2.70 ERA (4ER/13.1IP) through eight games in the DWL, with half of his earned runs coming in his last outing on Nov. 21. He's walked 10 while fanning 13.
Pimentel appeared in 56 games for Iowa with 41 games started across two seasons. In 2015, he went 12-6 with a 2.95 ERA to earn PCL Pitcher of the Year honors. He remains the only Iowa Cub to win the honor in the club's history. Pimentel pitched for El Paso in 2016, Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, but has not appeared in affiliated ball since.

Tigres del Licey


INF ARISMENDY ALCANTARA (w/ Iowa 2014-16)
Alcantara has seen limited action in the DWL, logging just seven at-bats through 10 games. He's yet to collect a hit, though he's notched four runs, one RBI and three stolen bases.
Alcantara has played professional baseball since 2009, despite being just 27 years old today. As an Iowa Cub, he led the PCL in triples in 2014 and 2015, and is the franchise record holder with 26 career triples. Alcantara is a free agent and last appeared in affiliated ball in 2017.

Estrellas de Oriente


OF JUNIOR LAKE (w/ Iowa 2013-15)
Lake has appeared in 36 games in the DWL, batting .286 (36-for-126) through 35 games in the DWL with a .416 OBP. Lake leads the league with four home runs and 17 RBI.
Lake appeared in 19 games with Triple-A Pawtucket in 2017, but hasn't logged a full season in affiliated ball since 2016. His stint with Iowa spanned three seasons with the outfielder batting .299 (124-for-418) through 112 games. He was traded to Baltimore for RHP Tommy Hunter at the traded deadline in 2015.
RHP OSCAR DE LA CRUZ (prospect)
De La Cruz has logged four games in the DWL, collecting a 4.50 ERA (2ER/4.0IP) with two walks and five strikeouts. His last appearance came on Nov. 10 in which he spun a scoreless frame.
The 23-year-old pitched to a 6-7 record with a 5.24 ERA with Double-A Tennessee in 2018, before he was suspended for 80 games beginning in July for violating Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. He is rated as the Cubs' No. 10 prospect according to MLB.com.
INF CHESNY YOUNG (w/ Iowa 2017-18)
Young played in just three games in the DWL from Nov. 5-10, going 0-for-7 with one walk and three strikeouts.
Suiting up for Iowa for the entirety of 2017 and 2018, Young is a career .260 Triple-A batter in 201 games. He was selected by the Cubs in the 14th round of the 2014 draft.
