Now entering its 13th season, the State College Spikes' Player Host Program is accepting applications for potential host families for the 2018 season. While many host families return year after year, the Spikes are always looking to add to the list of families willing to open their homes to professional baseball players during the summer.
The Spikes' Player Host Program helps players transition to the Happy Valley community, with many of the families and players involved keeping in touch and forging lasting relationships.
Young ballplayers from all walks of life will be coming to State College, most for the first time, and participants in the Spikes' Player Host Program can help these young men enjoy their stay in Central Pennsylvania their summer.
For more information, or to join the Spikes' Player Host Program, contact Julie Henry at [email protected] or (814) 272-1711 x339.
