Austin Wynns hit a three-run homer to help the Tides rally from an early deficit and complete a doubleheader sweep with a 6-5 win over Louisville Sunday. The Tides were victorious in game one, 3-1.

In game one, Asher Wojciechowski worked six strong innings and Drew Dosch homered as the Tides topped the Bats, 3-1.
Making his third start of the season, Wojciechowski (2-1) allowed just three hits and a walk while striking out seven. The 29-year-old Citadel product allowed a solo home run to Brandon Dixon in the fourth frame but otherwise was tremendous as he turned in his second straight Quality Start. In five games (two starts) in May, he's now registered 25 strikeouts while yielding only four walks and 10 hits in 16.0 innings of work.
The Tides got on the board in the first inning, when Caleb Joseph - playing in his first game with Norfolk this season - drove home Mike Yastrzemski with a single to center field. After the Bats knotted the score at 1-1 on Dixon's home run, Dosch gave the Tides the lead for good with his second home run of the season - a solo shot into right field.
Norfolk extended its lead to 3-1 on a sacrifice fly by Rubén Tejada in the sixth frame, and Jhan Mariñez earned the save by striking out a pair in a scoreless inning of relief.
In game two, the Tides trailed the contest 3-0 before rallying with four runs in the fourth inning to take the lead. Dosch got Norfolk on the board with a run-scoring single before Wynns belted a three-run shot into the picnic area in left field to give the Tides a 4-3 advantage.
The homer continued a torrid stretch for Wynns against left-handed pitching, as he's now batted .500 (14-28) with a home run, three doubles and nine runs batted in against southpaws this season.
After Louisville knotted the score at 4-4 in the fifth, Renato Núñez hit a solo homer - his first as a Tide - in the bottom half of the fifth inning to give the Tides the lead. The Bats once again tied the contest in the sixth frame, but Adrian Marin scored Mike Yastrzemski with a single in the bottom half of the sixth to help the Tides reclaim the lead.
Joely Rodríguez then worked a scoreless seventh to pick up his first save of the season. Rodriguez has now posted a 1.38 ERA (2 ER, 13.0 IP) over his last 10 appearances.
Norfolk starter John Means, making his Triple-A debut after he was promoted from Double-A Bowie on Friday, allowed four runs on eight hits over 4.1 innings. He struck out two without walking a batter, but yielded three solo home runs - matching a career-high.
Ryan Meisinger (1-0) earned the victory in his Triple-A debut, as he allowed one run over 1.2 innings of relief. The 24-year-old right-hander, who was also called up from Bowie on Friday, struck out four while allowing one hit.
The doubleheader sweep helped the Tides complete their six-game homestand with a 3-3 record and improved Norfolk's record against Louisville to 6-1 this season.
The Tides will open up an eight-game, two-city road trip on Monday night with the first of a four-game set in Charlotte. Yefry Ramírez (1-2, 3.80) is set to start for Norfolk and be opposed by right-hander Jordan Stephens (0-1, 3.00), with first pitch slated for 7:04.
Notes: Prior to Sunday's twinbill, the Orioles recalled RHP David Hess to Baltimore and optioned LHP Donnie Hart to Norfolk…With the win in the opener, Norfolk avoided its first three-game losing skid of the season…Playing in his first two games with the Tides this season, Caleb Joseph went 3-for-6 with a double and an RBI, catching game one while serving as the designated hitter in game two…Since being promoted from Bowie on May 15th, Mike Yastrzemski has three triples in just six games played.
