When will baseball start?
An official Opening Day has not been set at this time. With recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding gatherings of groups of 50 or more people, Major League Baseball has committed to an 8-week delay that began on March 16th. Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball will work together to determine our schedule as the situation develops.
How will the schedule change to accommodate the late start?
We can’t say for sure how the schedule will be impacted though no games have been canceled. MLB and MiLB will continue to evaluate the situation with the goal to return to normal operating procedures and play as many games as possible.
I have tickets to the home opener and/or other games, what are my options?
Any updates we can confirm will be announced on our website and all Tides social media platforms for any games that are affected by this delayed start. Please hold on to your tickets until a policy is announced as MLB and MiLB continue to evaluate all events leading up to the start of the season.
Our ticketing staff is available via email or phone and we appreciate your patience as we continue to work with the information presented to us. We will work to accommodate everyone once play resumes.
Can we still stop by Harbor Park and the Box Office?
In the interest of public health and safety of our staff and fans, Harbor Park and the Box Office are temporarily closed. However, we encourage fans to shop our online store or purchase tickets online.
We will be constantly reviewing the situation and will reopen when it is safe to do so.
Where can I find the latest updates on the season?
