SPRINGDALE, Mo. - Springfield used two Major League rehabbers to shutout and hold the Naturals to one hit on Saturday night by a final of 1-0 at Hammons Field.
Right-hander, Alex Reyes (1-0, 0.00) worked 7.2 innings in his third Major League rehab appearance and struck out 13 batters, matching his career-best. The 23-year old held Northwest Arkansas to one hit. Rehabbing left-hander, Tyler Lyons pitched the ninth inning to notch the save.

Andres Machado made his second start for the Naturals (19-22) on Saturday night and worked through 5.2 innings of one-run baseball. The only blemish on the line for Machado came from Victor Roache , who led off the bottom of the second inning with his league-leading 13th homer of the season.
Machado (0-2, 1.69) finished 5.2 innings of one-run baseball, scattering four hits. He struck out four batters and walked three in the near-quality start.
Franco Terrero followed Machado's start and pitched 2.1 innings of shutout relief with a pair of strikeouts. Over the month of May, Terrero has been outstanding. He's allowed just one run over 12.0 innings of work with 14 strikeouts.
The lone hit for the Naturals came in the top of the third inning from Luis Villegas who smoked a 2-0 Reyes fastball down the rightfield line.
The series continues on Sunday, May 20 with a double-header to make-up for a lost game due to rain from April 25. Left-hander, Foster Griffin (2-4, 3.98) will make his ninth start of the season in Game 1 with left-hander, Jake Kalish (0-1, 5.95) taking the ball in Game 2.
