TULSA, Okla. - Right-hander, Jace Vines authored his second quality start of the season as the Naturals capitalized on eight Drillers walks in the 8-4 triumph over Tulsa at ONEOK Field on Thursday night. The victory keeps the Northwest Arkansas elimination number at one for another day. Vines (4-3, 6.48)
TULSA, Okla. - Right-hander,
Vines (4-3, 6.48) struggled earlier in his start allowing three runs on five hits in his first two frames. After the 23-year old allowed a lead-off single in the fourth to Michael Ahmed, he settled in and retired the final 10 batters faced, working into the seventh inning. Vines worked 6.1 innings, allowed three runs, scatted seven hits while punching out six batters in the game. The right-hander two of the final four faced.

After the Drillers tied the game in the first inning, Gonsolin walked three batters to open the third inning, loaded the bases and uncorked a wild pitch to plate
Tulsa tied the game at 3-3 in the third inning, but hunted for more.
Liddi came through with a two-out, two-run single in the fourth inning to give the Naturals a 5-3 lead. Northwest Arkansas tacked on three more runs throughout the ballgame and picked up the 8-4 win.

The Naturals enter action tomorrow night three and one-half games behind the Drillers with four games remaining in the regular season and will need to win-out the remainder of the regular season in order to stay alive for a playoff berth.
