Oklahoma City - Trevor Crowe's two-RBI triple in the fifth inning provided the eventual winning run for the Oklahoma City RedHawks (8-7) in a 5-2 win Friday against the Round Rock Express (9-7) in front of a crowd of 5,143 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The win closed out a four-game series between the teams and ended an eight-game homestand for the RedHawks. The two teams split the series, 2-2, while the RedHawks concluded the homestand with a 3-5 record.

Crowe extended his hitting streak to 13 games in the win and also led Oklahoma City with two RBI. He was one of four RedHawks with two hits in the game.

Jim Adduci hit 3-for-3 to lead the Express.

The RedHawks grabbed the first lead of the game in the second inning when Jonathan Villar tripled to score Marc Krauss.

Round Rock tied the game, 1-1, on a RBI single by Joey Butler in the fourth inning before Crowe's second hit of the night extended the RedHawks lead in the fifth. Crowe's two-RBI triple, followed by a RBI double by Fernando Martinez, gave Oklahoma City a 4-1 edge.

The RedHawks added another run in the sixth inning before a solo home run to center by Round Rock's Chris McGuiness cut into the RedHawks lead, 5-2.

RedHawks reliever C.J. Fick (1-0) got the win. Pitcher Josh Zeid, who struck out three Express batters, including two in the ninth inning, was credited with the save for Oklahoma City.

Round Rock starter Collin Balester (1-2) struck out four and allowed 10 hits and five runs in the loss.
