RedHawks Release Free Mobile App

OKLAHOMA CITY - Just in time for the start of the 2014 season, the Oklahoma City RedHawks have released an official team mobile app.

Fans can download the free app on their phones by searching for "OKC RedHawks" in the App Store or through Google Play.

The app features team news, stats, and schedules, as well as a direct link to RedHawks broadcasts. Fans can also purchase game tickets, souvenirs, and much more directly through the app.

There is also a large social element embedded in the app. Fans can use the photo card feature to snap RedHawks-themed pictures and post on the Fan Wall to interact with others.

"We're always looking to enhance our fans' experience, both when they're at the ballpark and when they're following the team on the road," RedHawks President/General Manager Michael Byrnes said. "The app has been in development for a long time, and we wanted to make sure we had all the right features and functionality in place before we released it."  

The RedHawks open the 2014 season Thursday, April 3 at Round Rock, and team's home schedule begins at 7:05 p.m. Friday, April 11 against New Orleans at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
