Oklahoma City - Zach McKinstry hit two three-run homers for the Oklahoma City Dodgers Friday night to guide OKC to a 9-2 win against the Tacoma Rainiers at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Two days after setting a career-high mark with four RBI Wednesday, McKinstry finished Friday night's game with a new career-high six RBI in his fifth Triple-A game. He went 4-for-4 in the game as he also tied his career-high mark with four hits.

He helped the Dodgers (55-61) quickly build an 8-0 lead through three innings, scoring eight runs on three hits as Oklahoma City partnered with MidFirst Bank to "Pack the Park Pink" Friday night.

With one out in the second inning, Kyle Garlick walked and Zach Reks was hit by pitch to put two runners on base. McKinstry then connected on a three-run homer out to right field to put the Dodgers in front, 3-0.

In the third inning, Gavin Lux, Austin Barnes and Jedd Gyorko drew three straight walks to lead off for OKC and load the bases. Then after back-to-back Oklahoma City strikeouts, Zach Reks grounded a two-out, two-run single into right field to extend the Dodgers to a 5-0 lead.

McKinstry came up to bat next and connected on his second three-run homer of the game - in his second at-bat of the night - to put the Dodgers in front, 8-0, on just three hits.

McKinstry has now hit safely in each of his first five Triple-A games, posting four straight multi-hit games and going 12-for-20 overall with OKC, collecting three homers and 11 RBI.

Tacoma (52-65) got on the scoreboard in the fifth inning after Dodgers starting pitcher Logan Bawcom held the Rainiers to two hits through four innings.

The Rainiers' Joseph Odom homered out to right-center field to lead off the top of the fifth inning for Tacoma's first run of the night to cut OKC's lead to 8-1.

Connor Joe grounded into a fielder's choice in the sixth inning to bring home a run and extend Oklahoma City's lead to 9-1.

A RBI double by Jacob Brugman in the eighth inning trimmed the Dodgers' advantage to 9-2.

Bawcom (1-1) allowed one run and three hits over 5.0 innings with one walk and six strikeouts. Pitchers Chris Nunn, Dylan Floro and Josh Sborz allowed a combined one run and two hits over the final four innings in OKC's win.

Darren McCaughan (0-5) was charged with the loss, allowing eight runs on three hits, with four walks and four strikeouts over 2.2 innings.

With Friday's victory, the Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of the Rainiers and improved to 11-3 in their last 14 home games.
