Oklahoma City - Dennis Santana threw six shutout innings and tied his career-high with 11 strikeouts in his Triple-A debut as the Oklahoma City Dodgers defeated the Nashville Sounds, 4-2, Saturday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Dodgers' No. 10 prospect, as rated by Baseball America, retired the first nine Sounds batters of the game in front of a crowd of 9,591.

After allowing two hits in the fourth inning, the right-handed pitcher retired nine of the final 10 batters he faced as he earned his first win with Oklahoma City.
Santana allowed three total hits and did not issue a walk, exiting the game with a 3-0 lead.
He threw 86 pitches, including 60 strikes as he joined the Dodgers from Double-A Tulsa where he made eight starts to begin the season. Santana's 11 strikeouts marked a season-high for an Oklahoma City pitcher.
He guided the Dodgers to their Minor League-leading 19th home win of the season as Oklahoma City improved to 19-4 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Dodgers (26-13) took the lead in the first inning.
Tim Locastro led off for the Dodgers with a single and scored on Travis Taijeron's RBI single to center field for a 1-0 advantage.
In the fourth inning, Oklahoma City's Jake Peter hit a two-run RBI single to right field to extend Oklahoma City's lead to 3-0.
A two-run homer by Nashville's Jake Smolinski cut the Dodgers' lead to 3-2 in the seventh inning.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Breyvic Valera led off with a triple into right field. Donovan Solano followed with a RBI double to center to push the Dodgers' lead to 4-2.
Santana (1-0) combined with four relievers for a 16-strikeout night for the Dodgers pitching staff, marking a season-high strikeout total for the team. The Dodgers also held the Sounds to four total hits on the night.
Nashville starting pitcher James Naile (4-4) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs (one earned) and five hits over 7.0 innings with one walk and two strikeouts.
The Sounds fell to 21-20 as the Dodgers grabbed a 2-1 lead in the four-game series between the teams.
The Dodgers wrap up their series against the Sounds at 2:05 p.m. on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, featuring pregame player autographs, a mascot meet-and-greet, face painters, inflatables and postgame kids run the bases.
