Series Finale in Colorado Springs Postponed

Teams will be play a doubleheader during series to end regular season

Colorado Springs, Colo. -  Tuesday's game between the Oklahoma City Dodgers and Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to rain and wet field conditions. The teams will make up the game during a doubleheader when the Dodgers visit the Sky Sox to end the regular season, Aug. 31-Sept. 3.Rain

Colorado Springs, Colo. -  Tuesday's game between the Oklahoma City Dodgers and Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to rain and wet field conditions. The teams will make up the game during a doubleheader when the Dodgers visit the Sky Sox to end the regular season, Aug. 31-Sept. 3.
Rain persisted from 5-7 p.m., including a few downpours and even a brief hailstorm at one point, saturating the playing field. Shortly after the scheduled start of the game, the contest was called.
 
The Dodgers will look to regroup after leaving Colorado Springs, as they have lost six of their last eight games following a 22-6 start. The Dodgers have a day off Wednesday and will resume play at home Thursday against the Nashville Sounds. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m., and gates will open at 6 p.m. It's another $2 Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, with Pepsi products, bottled water and select beers on sale for $2.
