The Chasers were held to 4 hits, while the Redbirds collected a baker's dozen and cruised past Omaha 9-2 Sunday afternoon at AutoZone Park.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (August 25, 2019) - The Chasers were held to 4 hits, while the Redbirds collected a baker's dozen and cruised past Omaha 9-2 Sunday afternoon at AutoZone Park.
The Chasers got on the board first with a solo home run from Jecksson Flores (1-3, R, H, RBI, 2 BB) his 8th on the year.
The Redbirds would then go on to score 4 runs in the first 3 innings. 1B Rangel Ravelo (3-5, 2 R, 3 H, 3 RBI) picked up 3 of those RBI's with a double in the 1st and a 2-run homerun in the 3rd, his twelfth on the year. Taylor Featherston (1-3, H, RBI, BB) recently called up to Triple-A, hits a triple in the 4th inning to score Elier Hernandez (1-4, R, H). Memphis would proceed to score 5 unanswered runs to cap off the scoring. Adolis García ( 2-4, 2 R, 2 H, 3 RBI) hits his 29th homerun on the year in the 5th inning and his 30th in the 7th.
Two other Chasers collected hits. Chase d'Arnaud (1-3, H, BB) tripled in the 1st and Elier Hernandez singled before scoring in the 4th.
Jake Kalish (5.0 IP 9 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 K) suffered his 7th loss of the year and gave up 3 homeruns. Redbirds started Ponce de Leon (5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2ER, 4 BB, 6 K) who picked up his 8th win on the year. Richard Lovelady (1.0, 3 H 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 2 K) gave up his 7th and 8th earned run on the year, during his first outing since getting sent back down from Kansas City.
Omaha returns to Werner Park to wrap up the 2019 season with a seven-game homestand from August 26 through September 2, hosting the Nashville Sounds and Round Rock Express. First pitch of the series opener on Monday, August 26 is set for 7:05pm CT.
