The Missoula Osprey in conjunction with Big Time Wrestling announced today that former WWF (now WWE) Intercontinental Champion, The Honky Tonk Man has been added to the Big Time Wrestling show that already includes WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and the "Hardcore Icon" The Sandman, set for Ogren Park Allegiance Field on Friday, June 9.

The self-proclaimed, "Greatest Intercontinental Champion" is best known for his first run with WWF, where he held the WWF Intercontinental Championship for over 64 weeks, a record that still stands today, before losing the title to The Ultimate Warrior at the inaugural SummerSlam.

In 1989, Honky's manager, "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, aligned Honky with Greg "The Hammer" Valentine as the tag team Rhythm and Blues. Rhythym and Blues competed against the likes of the Hart Foundation and The Legion of Doom. They were also a part of Ted DiBiase's Million Doallar Team along with his "mystery" partner, which ended up being the debut of the Undertaker at the 1990 Survivor Series.

Honky moved on to World Championship Wrestling in 1994 and back to the WWF/E for stints that spanned 1997-2001 and 2008-2013. A slick competitor with an Elvis-like persona, Honky was offered a chance to be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010, but was under contract for another event at the same time.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Tuesday, January 31 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the MSO Hub, located at 140 N Higgins in downtown Missoula, by phone at (406) 543-3300 and online at
