Homestand Preview: July 4th - July 10th

The Potomac Nationals start a 7-game homestand on July 4th! Celebrate Independence Day Weekend with the P-Nats, with the special Food, Fireworks and Fun package each night. The homestand is highlighted by the Anthony Rendon Bobblehead giveaway and three nights of fireworks.

Friday, July 4th
Gates Open: 5:00pm                        First pitch: 6:35pm
Celebrate Independence Day with the P-Nats! Enjoy a pre-game all-you-can-eat picnic in the WashMyDeck Picnic area with the Food, Fireworks and Fun package, and stick around post-game for an extended fireworks show, presented by Sentara.

July 4th is the first of three consecutive nights of fireworks at the Pfitz!

Saturday, July 5th
Gates Open: 5:00pm                        First pitch: 5:00pm
Saturday night is a doubleheader. The first game is the resumption of the game that was suspended on June 27th in Myrtle Beach. The P-Nats and Pelicans will pick up in the top of the 5th inning, with the Pelicans leading 6-3. The P-Nats have runners at first and second base, with Randolph Oduber at bat and one out. The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game, and will be 7-innings in length.

Saturday is also the Anthony Rendon MLB Debut bobblehead giveaway, presented by Little Caesars Team Dumfries and Haymarket. Arrive early, as only the first 1,000 fans through the gates will take one home. Gates will be opening at 5pm.

Food, Fireworks and Fun continues, with an all-you-can-eat picnic pre-game and a spectacular post-game fireworks show!

Kids can also run the bases after the game.

Sunday, July 6th
Gates Open: 5:00pm                        First Pitch: 6:05pm
The series against the Pelicans concludes Sunday night. It's the third and final day of Food, Fireworks and Fun! Enjoy the all-you-can-eat pre-game picnic and fireworks after the game. The P-Nats will also be celebrating Christmas in July, so look out for holiday decorations throughout the stadium. The Salvation Army will be in attendnace as well, with kettle bell ringers and will be sponsoring a food drive. 

Sundays are Family Fun Days at the Pfitz, with pre-game player autographs in the café area. Two players will sign from approximately 5:15-5:35. Kids will also have the opportunity to run the bases after the game.

It's also Virginia529 Smart Savers Sunday. Show your Smart Savers card and receive 2 complimentary general admission tickets.

Monday, July 7th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First Pitch: 7:05pm
The P-Nats begin a 4-game series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks Monday night. Mondays are Dollar Mondays at the Pfitz! Grandstand tickets and hot dogs are just $1 each, presented by the Washington Post. Dollar tickets must be purchased in person at the box office.

Tuesday, July 8th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First Pitch: 7:05pm
Tuesday night we will be playing baseball bingo. Pick up a card on the way in for a chance to get a bingo and win a prize! It is also one of the Silver Slugger Nights at the Pfitz.

The daily promotion is Two-for-Tuesday, with 2 tickets, 2 hot dogs and 2 small sodas for the price of one (does not include grandstand tickets). Two-for-Tuesday packages must be purchased in person at the box office.

Wednesday, July 9th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First Pitch: 7:05pm
Game 3 of the series against the Blue Rocks is All-You-Can-Eat Wednesday. The Bellybuster takes place in the WashMyDeck Picnic Area and features hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza from Little Caesars. Tickets start at $16 (includes game ticket) and sponsored food is available while supplies last. Bellybuster tickets must be purchased in person at the box office.

Thursday, July 10th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First Pitch: 7:05pm
The homestand concludes with Thursday Cheers. There will be dollar drink specials during the game, presented by Yellow Cab. Pre-game, there will be a live band, Raging Waters, performing in the café area.

It's also Ladies Night! The first 100 women aged 21 and up to arrive at the Pfitz will get in for free (grandstand ticket only). Ladies can pick up their tickets from the box office starting at 10am while tickets last.
