After a quick three-game trip to Frederick, the Potomac Nationals return home for a seven-game homestand. After a quick three-game trip to Frederick, the Potomac Nationals return home for a seven-game homestand. It features the Anthony Rendon Real Electric Hair Bobblehead, two nights of fireworks, the 2005 Inaugural P-Nats on-field jersey auction and replica jersey giveaway and Bark in the Park.
The P-Nats will face the Salem Red Sox (Boston) for a four-game series, followed by a three-game set against the Winston-Salem Dash (Chicago White Sox). This is the Dash's first trip to the Pfitz in 2017.

Monday, August 14th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First pitch: 7:05pm
The P-Nats kick off the homestand with Dollar Monday at The Pfitz. Both grandstand tickets and hot dogs will be sold for just $1 each, presented by The Washington Post. Dollar tickets can now be purchased online, in advance of the game (online ticket sales cut off two hours before gates open). $1 hot dogs and $1 grandstand tickets are while supplies last. Once all $1 hot dogs and $1 tickets are sold, hot dogs and grandstand tickets return to regular pricing.
Tuesday, August 15th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First pitch: 7:05pm
Game Two of the series brings Deuces Wild Tuesday! Grandstand tickets will be $2, and now can be purchased online, in advance of the game (note: online ticket sales cut off two hours before gates open).
As part of Deuces Wild Tuesday, there will be $2 P-Nats player performance-based concessions specials, as well as $2 Wild Card concessions specials.
Wednesday, August 16th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First pitch: 7:05pm
Wednesday night is $20K Winning Wednesday. The P-Nats have upped the ante on Winning Wednesdays, with two opportunities for fans to win $10,000! If any P-Nats player hits a grand slam in the seventh inning, one fan will walk away with $10,000; while if the starting P-Nats pitcher throws a complete game no-hitter of at least nine innings, another fan will win $10,000. These contests are free to enter, and fans can sign up at the fan assistance booth. Fans must be present to win.
Another part of Winning Wednesday is that if the P-Nats win, fans can redeem their ticket for another ticket of equal value to Fan Appreciation Day, which is Sunday, August 27th! Also, Winning Wednesday contests and raffles will provide Nine Innings of Winning throughout the game.
Additionally, Baseball Bingo will be played during the game.
Also, want a chance to win cash? Buy a hot dog at the game! A select number of hot dogs will be wrapped with cash on Wednesday. Purchase one (or several) for an opportunity to win! Hot dogs are sold out of the main concession stand.
Thursday, August 17th
Gates Open: 6:00pm                        First pitch: 7:05pm
The series against the Red Sox wraps up with Almost Halfway to St. Patrick's Day! It will be a night of limericks and hopefully good luck for the P-Nats as the Nationals paint the park green.
Any fan who wears two green items (combination of a hat, outerwear, shirt, and/or pants) or anyone dressed as a leprechaun will receive a $5 grandstand ticket at the Extreme Custom Collision Ticket Office on the night of the game.
Furthermore, fans who bring a real four-leaf clover to the P-Nats' Ticket Office on gameday will also receive a $5 grandstand ticket.
Concessions favorites among leprechauns, Irish Nachos and Green Beverages will be served in the Main Concessions Stand.
If fans are lucky, the P-Nats' (Almost) Halfway to St. Patty's Day Celebration will kick off pre-game with an Irish Dance performance on the field.
Irish-themed music will fill the air all night long while famous leprechauns from the television and motion picture worlds will grace the outfield jumbo-tron video board in addition to a compilation of the Best Rainbows ever naturally created.
Plus, replica leprechauns will be hidden around the ballpark, and fans who catch these elusive leprechauns will receive prize packs courtesy of the Potomac Nationals...gold for the P-Nats' faithful!
Meanwhile, a Limerick Writing Station will encourage fans to try their luck at penning a baseball-themed limerick to be read aloud over the public address system.
A pot of baseball gold awaits you inside the gates of The Pfitz!
It is also Thursday Cheers at the ballpark, featuring $1 drink specials during the game. The drink specials will run for 90 minutes.
New this year is College Night Pfitz Parties! With proof of a student ID, grandstand tickets will be $5 and in the Picnic Area, there will be games, including water pong, corn hole and trivia.
Friday, August 18th

Don't miss Friday night at The Pfitz, as it features fireworks, a jersey auction, bark in the park and the Wing Fling.
As part of the season-long 40 years of Potomac Baseball celebration, P-Nats players and coaches will be wearing commemorative throwback 2005 Potomac Nationals on-field jerseys, presented by Weber's Pet Supermarket and Merrick Pet Care. These jerseys will be auctioned off via a silent auction during the game, with proceeds benefitting the Special Olympics. Winners will be able to take a photo post-game with the player or coach who wore and autographed the on-field jersey.
Don't leave early, as the night will be capped off by fireworks, presented by WTOP! It is the final Friday Night Fireworks shows this summer.
The entire evening will flash back to the year 2005, celebrating the first year the Potomac franchise was affiliated with the Washington Nationals. Fans will receive a replica 2005 program, listen to popular songs from 2005, and see clips from movies that premiered that year.
Join the P-Nats for the annual Wing Fling! Local vendors, including Hooters and Two Brothers, will be competing for the title of "Best Wings in Town". The Wing Fling is part of an all-you-can-eat picnic, which fans can add-on to their game ticket for just $10.
Friday night is also Bark at the Park Night! Bring your favorite four-legged P-Nats fan to the ballpark. All dogs are welcome to enjoy the game with their owners! Dogs (and owners) can also participate in a pre-game dog parade, as well as post-game dogs run the bases. Dogs are admitted for free with their owners, but if you will be sitting in the seating bowl (Field Box, Box or Reserved) with a large dog, you may need to purchase an extra seat for the comfort of fans around you.
Show your George Mason University spirit at The Pfitz as well for George Mason University Pride Night! Any fan that wears George Mason attire will be able to purchase a discounted grandstand ticket for $5.
Friday is additionally Health and Wellness Night, presented by Mary Washington Healthcare.
Bring the whole family out to the game, with the Friday Family Pack! For the low price of $44, fans will receive four reserved section tickets, four regular hot dogs, four 22oz sodas and four adjustable P-Nats hats. Packages must be purchased two hours before the game.
Post-game, kids have the opportunity to run the bases just like their favorite players! Kids Run the Bases is presented by Glory Days Grill. Kids should line up at the first base gate at the conclusion of the game.
Also, all full and half season ticket holders will have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive pre-game autograph session.
Saturday, August 19th
Gates Open: 5:00pm                        First pitch: 6:35pm
Saturday has another fantastic bobblehead giveaway that fans won't want to miss! The Anthony Rendon Real Electric Hair Bobblehead will be given out to the first 1,250 fans through the gates, courtesy of Burke & Herbert Bank. Rendon, the current Washington Nationals' third baseman, played with the P-Nats in 2012 and then again in 2015 on a rehab assignment.
Another aspect of the "Electric Night" at the Pfitz is the Dwight "Doc" Gooden appearance. The Potomac Nationals will welcome Gooden, the three-time World Series Champion and four-time Major League All-Star, to The Pfitz for a free meet-and-greet autograph signing. He will sign from 5:15pm-6pm, throw out a ceremonial first pitch and then sign again from 6:30pm-8pm. Signatures will be limited to one per person, and the line will form immediately once gates open. The P-Nats will be selling 8"x10" photos of Gooden at his autograph station while supplies last.
Additionally, it is the final Scout Night of the season, presented by Virginia Virtual Academy. Scouts are invited to The Pfitz to take part in a night filled with activities. There will be a scout parade before the game and post-game, kids will be able to run the bases before pitching their tents in the outfield. The Mighty Ducks will also be shown on the video board after the tents are set up. All scouts will then take home a special Potomac Baseball 40th Anniversary patch the next morning after packing up!
There will be a Flying Dog Brewery beer tasting at the ballpark. Stop by the first base gate when gates open, up until first pitch, to sample some of their beers.
It is also Get Back in the Game with Sentara OrthoJoint Center.
Be sure to stick around post-game to see the best fireworks show in the area, sponsored by WTOP.
Kids will also have the opportunity to run the bases after the game, presented by Glory Days Grill.
Sunday, August 20th

The series and homestand concludes with Kids Day Sunday and a giveaway!
As part of the P-Nats' season-long Potomac Baseball 40th season Official Throwback Replica Jersey Series, on four select premium Sundays, replica jerseys honoring four of the Potomac Baseball franchises will be handed out to fans. The final one is the 2005 Inaugural Potomac Nationals Jersey, presented by APlus! The first 1,000 fans through the gates (500 adults & 500 kids) will receive one of these replica jerseys. Don't forget to customize your jersey at the ballpark! Fans can get their name and number put on the back for just $20.
Bring the family out for Kids Day Sunday! The first 250 kids 12 and under will eat free, presented by Little Caesars. Kids will receive a voucher upon entering the stadium that is good for one free hot dog at the main concessions stand, as well as a voucher that is good for a free cheese pizza at participating Little Caesars locations. During the game, there will be a Kid Guest Public Address announcer, sponsored by Virginia529. Kids can sign up for the opportunity to be the guest PA during any of the P-Nats home games at fan assistance. Post-game, kids can run the bases, presented by Glory Days Grill, receive autographs from two players in the Extreme Custom Collision Café Area and families can play catch on the field. There will also be a face painter at the ballpark.
P-Nats players and coaches will be wearing this season's Military Appreciation jerseys during the game. These commemorative jerseys, presented by Reality Realty, will be worn on select dates throughout the season to recognize the abundance of local military members and their families in the area, and to thank them for all that they do for our country. These jerseys will be auctioned off on August 27th, with proceeds benefitting the Heroes Alliance Network and the American Veterans Ball.
