Frederick, MD-The Potomac Nationals (50-40, 12-9) and Frederick Keys (42-49, 10-14) were rained out of a chance to play their Game Four series finale at Harry Grove Stadium on Monday evening as pre-game rain showers and the threat of an additional thunderstorm postponed the Northern Division clash.
A doubleheader at Harry Grove Stadium consisting of a pair of seven-inning games has been scheduled for Sunday, August 31st.
First pitch for Game One of the twin bill is set for 4:00pm.
This series will represent the final set of the 2014 campaign leading up to the 2014 Carolina League Playoffs.
The Nationals return to action Wednesday at Pfitzner Stadium after an off day tomorrow. A twin bill ushers in the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Kansas City Royals) at 6:00pm.
