P-Nats Release 2013 Schedule

Opening Night at Pfitzner Stadium Set for Friday, April 5 vs. Lynchburg Hillcats

The Potomac Nationals have released their schedule for the upcoming 2013 season which marks the 36th campaign for the Potomac franchise. Opening Night at Pfitzner Stadium will be the first game of the '13 season for the P-Nats on Friday, April 5th against the defending Carolina League Champion, Lynchburg Hillcats (Atlanta Braves). The Nationals' season opening six-game homestand will feature three games vs. Lynchburg and three showdowns against the Salem Red Sox (Boston Red Sox).

The most anticipated night of P-Nats Baseball on the entire 2013 home calendar is the Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 4th as Potomac hosts the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Kansas City Royals) in a four-game set. A special post-game fireworks extravaganza will capitalize the Fourth of July festivities at the Pfitz.

The 2013 Carolina League All-Star Break will run from Monday, June 17th through Thursday, June 20th with the All-Star Game scheduled for Tuesday, June 18th in San Jose, CA at Municipal Stadium, home of the San Jose Giants (Class-A Advanced, San Francisco Giants), featuring the best stars from the Carolina League and the California League.
