New Parking and Security Policies
This season, parking will be $6 in all Pfitzner Stadium parking lots. Cash will be the only form of payment accepted at the P-Nats' parking lots. In addition, the P-Nats are creating a safer environment inside the stadium by adding a bag check at the gates. Any patron carrying a bag into the stadium will be subject to a bag check by P-Nats' gameday staff members who will be positioned at all gate locations before and during any home game at The Pfitz. This measure is being taken in order to secure the safest possible environment for all Potomac Nationals' guests who enter Pfitzner Stadium. The P-Nats are reminding fans that they may bring one bottle of water per person with them to Pfitzner Stadium but no other outside food and/or beverage is permitted inside the gates of The Pfitz with the exception of food and/or beverage items designated for fans with specific food allergies or dietary health restrictions. The Potomac Nationals appreciate the cooperation of the P-Nats' faithful with regards to these new policies which will be enforced beginning on Opening Night, Thursday, April 13th.
Press Box Windows Upgrade
New windows will adorn the Federal Savings Bank Press Box at The Pfitz as the previous window panels were replaced by Prince William County during the off-season in advance of the upcoming 40th season of Potomac Baseball. This upgrade will assist members of the media tremendously with viewing clearly Potomac Nationals' live game action after years of sun damage to the previous window panels. The new windows are completely transparent with great range of view and will no longer have to be removed in order to see the Pfitzner Stadium playing surface; thus creating a comfortable setting for all members of the media to cover the Potomac Nationals this season.
