The report, entitled The Economic, Fiscal, & Developmental Impacts of a Ballpark At Slater Mill, was commissioned by the Pawtucket Foundation in an effort to get an expert's independent review of this topic.
Dr. Rosentraub, a nationally-renowned professor of sports management, and his team provide a detailed analysis of the proposal, along with thorough yet conservative projections regarding potential ancillary development surrounding the proposed ballpark site.
In the words of Dr. Rosentraub and his team, "The findings in this report, while conservative, predict positive, fiscal returns to both Rhode Island and Pawtucket, from their respective investments in a new, publicly-owned ballpark.
