Today's (Sunday's) scheduled International League game between the host Pawtucket Red Sox and the Rochester Red Wings at McCoy Stadium has been postponed due to rain and wet grounds that will be unplayable due to McCoy Stadium's drainage system.

The PawSox and Red Wings will play a single-admission make-up doubleheader next month when Rochester returns to McCoy for a series from June 16-18. The doubleheader will be Saturday, June 17 at 4:35 pm. The nightcap will still be televised on MyRITV, which will come on the air at 6 p.m. as scheduled. Fireworks set to a medley of Beatles songs will follow the doubleheader.

Pawtucket has already suffered seven postponements this season (3 at home and 4 on the road). They have played four doubleheaders and now have four more on the schedule.

Fans holding field box seats, reserved box seat tickets or general admission tickets for Sunday (without a specific rainout date printed on them) can trade those in for any remaining regular-season game at McCoy based on availability.

Boston Red Sox LHP David Price, who was slated to make a rehab start for the PawSox today, instead will throw a simulated game inside the McCoy batting/pitching tunnel. Price has been on Boston's disabled list all season after suffering a left elbow strain during spring training.

The PawSox will depart for Moosic, PA this afternoon and will begin a 7-game roadtrip tomorrow (Monday) with the opener of a 4-game series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at 6:35 pm at PNC Field. The Sox and Yankee affiliates will play Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday nights at 6:35 pm and Thursday morning at 10:35 am in Moosic. Pawtucket's trip will continue with a 3-game weekend set in Buffalo as the Sox and Bisons meet for the first time in 2017 with games Friday at 7:05 pm (possible start for David Price) and Saturday & Sunday both at 1:05 pm. The PawSox will be off one week from tomorrow (Monday, May 22) before beginning a 7-game homestand from May 23-29 that will feature 3-games vs. Louisville and a 4-game wrap-around Memorial Day weekend series with IL South-leading Durham.
