Starters Finish Strong

The Cardinals went 16-14 during the month of August, the best monthly result for the team in 2013. Their August success was in large part due to the stellar numbers put up by the trio of starting pitchers Joe Cuda (3-0, 1.79 ERA) Kurt Heyer (3-2, 1.47 ERA) and Ryan Sherriff (1-1, 1.87 ERA).

On August 27th, Joe Cuda and Thomas Lee combined to throw the Cardinals 12th combined shutout of the 2013 season, T2nd most in FSL regular season.
