Jupiter, FL - The Palm Beach Cardinals (70-55, 30-28) lost to the St. Lucie Mets (58-71, 25-36) by a final of 6-2 on Friday Night.Ramon Santos go the start on Friday and tossed 6.1 innings of one run baseball giving up eight hits, walking one batter and striking out four.

Jupiter, FL - The Palm Beach Cardinals (70-55, 30-28) lost to the St. Lucie Mets (58-71, 25-36) by a final of 6-2 on Friday Night.
Ramon Santos go the start on Friday and tossed 6.1 innings of one run baseball giving up eight hits, walking one batter and striking out four. He left with a no decision in the seventh.
The Mets got the first run of the day as Wuilmer Becerra doubled in John Mora to take a 1-0 lead.
Palm Beach got the run back in the bottom of the second when José Godoy drove in Chris Chinea after he led off the second with a double. The game was tied 1-1 through two complete.
Palm Beach took a 2-1 lead after four when Godoy drove in his second run of the day on a ground out bringing Pina across the plate.
Ian McKinney took over in the seventh and got out of a jam after Santos gave up two one-out singles in the seventh. McKinney came back out in the eighth and gave up two one-out singles of his own, bringing Dailyn Martinez to face the right handed batter. Martinez walked in the tying run as the bases were loaded and threw a wild pitch to allow St. Lucie to take a 3-2 lead.
St. Lucie added three more runs in the ninth to take a 6-2 victory after being down 2-1 going into the eighth inning.
