DJ Spinderella to headline Pelicans' Old School Hip Hop Night

Former Salt-N-Pepa member to play postgame party on August 24

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (August 3, 2017) - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will host their third annual Old School Hip Hop Night at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, August 24 at TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Following the game, DJ Spinderella will be on-hand spinning the ones and twos for a postgame concert.

Gates open at 6 p.m. at TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark when the Pelicans host the Down East Wood Ducks. During the contest, the Pelicans will celebrate Old School Hip Hop with music and contests. DJ Spinderella's free performance will take place after the game.

Best known as a member of the hip hop group Salt-n-Pepa, DJ Spinderella occasionally appeared in The Salt-n-Pepa Show, a reality TV series which aired on the VH1 network. Spinderella is part of the American Diabetes Association Celebrity Cabinet, a TV ONE UnSung Ambassador, supporter of Saving Our Daughters Mentoring Program and founder of the Spinderella DJ Academy.

Old School Hip Hop Night is also a Thirsty Thursday presented by Celebrations Nitelife, Axelrod and Associates, Better Brands and The Sun News with $1.00 12 oz. Bud & Bud Light draughts and $2 16 oz. cans from 6-8 p.m.
