Bodacious Bookstore & Cafe To Host New Orleans Sportscaster Mike Nabors On Dec. 14 For His Book On Drew Brees

His 15 years working in the New Orleans media market offered Mike Nabors a special window into future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees and his transcendental impact on the New Orleans Saints and the entire city.

He shares that knowledge and anecdotal examples in his book, The Brees Way, which was released nationwide on December 9.

Nabors, an Emmy-Award winning broadcast journalist will be at the Bodacious Bookstore & Cafe in Pensacola on Tuesday, December 14 to autograph copies of his book and visit with local Saints fans.

Nabors will be at the Southtowne location on 110 East Intendencia Street from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. to meet with customers. He will be part of the Sports Roundtable show on Fox Sports Pensacola The Fan (101.1 FM) with area sports talk host Paul Chestnutt during an hour-long broadcast from Bodacious Bookstore.

In addition, there will be a drawing for a Drew Brees autograph hat.

“The Bodacious Bookstore is so excited to host such an accomplished and successful author at our store,” said Melissa Smith, manager of Bodacious Bookstore & Café. “We can’t wait to hear his stories from Saints Nation and welcome football fans."

Nabors has worked for Cox Sports Television, based out of New Orleans and now Yurview. He has conducted more than 300 exclusive one-on-one interviews with Brees, which he has made part of the book.

Brees retired after a playoff loss in January 2021 at the Caesar’s Superdome against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the eventual Super Bowl LV champions. He is now part of the NBC Sports NFL Broadcast team.
