Bob Dylan to Headline AmericanaramA Festival July 11

Wilco, My Morning Jacket & Richard Thompson Electric Trio Also Performing

The Peoria Chiefs, Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment along with JAM Productions have announced that AmericanaramA Festival of Music featuring legendary Bob Dylan & His Band, Wilco, My Morning Jacket and The Richard Thompson Electric Trio will be performing at Peoria Chiefs Stadium on Thursday, July 11 starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now online, by calling 1-866-MYTICKET or in person at the Peoria Chiefs Stadium Box Office. All seats are General Admission with tickets priced at $65.50 for the four-band festival.

     The AmericanaramA Festival of Music kicks off June 26 in West Palm Beach, Florida and will visit 26 venues before wrapping up August 4 in Mountain View, California. The festival will make other baseball stadium stops in Memphis, Tennessee and Bridgeport, Connecticut among others.

     Dylan, one of the greatest singers and songwriters in American music history, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Hits such as "Like a Rolling Stone," "Blowin' in the Wind," "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35," "Lay Lady Lay," "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" and "The Times They Are a Changin" are legendary with any generation off Dylan's discography. A 10-time Grammy Award winner, Dylan played at Peoria Chiefs Stadium with Willie Nelson in August, 2004. Dylan's 2012 album, Tempest, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart last September as his fifth consecutive top 10 studio album.

     Wilco is an alternative rock band based out of Chicago and they won Grammy Awards in 2005 for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package for A Ghost Is Born. They were nominated for Best Americana Album in 2012 for Wilco (The Album) and for Best Rock Album in both 2008 with Sky Blue Sky and 2012 for The Whole Love.

    My Morning Jacket is a rock band from Louisville, Kentucky with Jim James as lead vocalist. They were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on May 10, 2008 and featured on CNN's 2009 New Year's Eve show with Anderson Cooper. They have previously opened for prominent acts such as Pearl Jam and Neil Young.

    Richard Thompson, of the Richard Thompson Electric Trio, is a West London, UK born musician and a recipient of BBC's Lifetime Achievement Award. He was named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the Top 20 Guitarists of All Time and his live tour CD Dream Attic was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2010 as Best Contemporary Folk Album.
