Tuesday night he doubled and scored a run against the Kernels. Bader put together great back-to-back games Wednesday and Thursday going 4-for-4 with two triples and three RBI in the series finale in Cedar Rapids. The two triples tied a Chiefs season high and also tied a Chiefs single game record. Friday in Quad Cities Bader was 3-for-5 with a run scored. After going hitless Friday in QC, Bader homered and singled while scoring two runs Saturday night in the Chiefs 4-2 win. He finished a strong week Sunday night against Cedar Rapids with two singles and his fourth multi-hit game of the week.

A 2015 third round draft pick out of the University of Florida, Bader joined the Chiefs July 7. In 47 Midwest League games he is batting .303 with seven home runs, eight doubles, two triples, 14 stolen bases, 24 RBI and 28 runs scored. Bader has mostly played center field for the Chiefs and has racked up six outfield assists. Since Bader and 2015 fourth round pick Paul DeJong joined the Chiefs on July 7, Peoria is 31-17 and the team clinched a playoff spot last Thursday.
