PEORIA, IL - On the heels of January's promotional schedule announcement, the Peoria Chiefs have announced the weekly promotions for the upcoming 2018 season including the return of Thirsty Thursday's and the introduction of Bark in the Park Sundays.
"We are very excited about our weekly promotions for 2018 with some new additions our fans will enjoy and the return of some of our more popular specials,' said Chiefs General Manager Jason Mott. "We pride ourselves on being the premier venue for affordable family entertainment in Central Illinois and these ticket, food and drink specials go hand-in-hand with our plan for this upcoming season.
Monday: For the first time in four years Monday will return to a Half Price Monday with $6.50 Dugout Seats, $5.50 Field Box Seats and $4.00 Lawn Seats. Mondays will also take on a Movie Monday theme with each Monday game themed out to a popular movie with sound effects, video clips and more.
Tuesday: New for this season is a Two for Tuesday promotion in which fans will get a $2 deal on a specific item each Tuesday. The Chiefs will announce the item on social media leading up to the Tuesday game each week and deals will include concession items, discounts on tickets or in the team store, or other special $2 deals. Just as in 2017, Tuesday is a Chick-Fil-A Thanks For Your Service Tuesday where military veterans and first responders (police, fire, EMT) can get up to four $3 tickets with a valid ID.
Wednesday: Bang For Your Buck Wednesdays return in 2018 with $1 hot dogs, $1 nachos and $1 popcorn for all Wednesday home games except July 4.
Thursday: Beer & Brat Thirsty Thursdays are back again in 2018 with $2 12 ounce domestic cans and soda plus $3 16 ounce craft drafts and margaritas. Brats are also $3 on Thursday and students with a valid college ID can get $5 Lawn seats. Thursday is once again a Taco Bell Live Mas Thursday where fans can present a Taco Bell receipt showing a purchase within the last seven days to receive a buy one, get one free ticket (Limit four free tickets per transaction).
Saturday: Signature Saturdays are back again in 2018 with select Chiefs players available to sign autographs pre-game on the concourse.
Sunday: There are a few changes to the Sunday promotions this year, mostly logistical and one major addition. New this season is Bark in the Park Sunday where fans can bring their dog to any Sunday game for FREE though the dogs are limited to the lawn areas of Dozer Park. Kids 12 and under are once again $5 for all Sunday games and kids can run the bases post-game. Play catch on the field has been moved back to pre-game in the outfield, starting when gates open. Player autographs will move to post-game on the concourse for 20 minutes post-game and will be available to all fans for the first time in years. The first 1000 fans through the gates on Sunday will get a Peoria Chiefs player poster (excluding April 8). Seniors 55 and over can get $5 tickets as well as part of Senior Sundays at Dozer Park.
