PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have announced that the Timber Rattlers series against the Kane County Cougars scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday will move to Dozer Park due to the blizzard that dumped over two feet of snow in the Appleton area this weekend.       Wisconsin and Kane County will play at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Noon on Wednesday and Noon on Thursday. Admission to all three games will be free though fans are encouraged to make a donation of any amount they desire to the United Way. The blizzard conditions in Wisconsin have prevented the Timber Rattlers from returning home and in addition to this week's games they will spend the Monday off-day in Peoria.

"This is a tough situation for everyone in the area and it would have been impossible to play any games at Neuroscience Group Field this week. This was the best option for the teams," said Timber Rattlers President Rob Zerjav. "You have to get creative when one of the worst snowstorms in the history of Wisconsin hammers you before the state of a homestand. This was the best option. We want to thank Peoria General Manager Jason Mott and his staff for being open to hosting these games. It is incredible to be part of a league where teams step up to help out in situations like this."
Wisconsin, who just finished a series against the Chiefs and will play in Peoria again next weekend, will be the home team for all three games. There will be a concession stand open on the concourse though the suite level will not be open for any of the three games.
After going 3-5 on the season-opening homestand, the Chiefs will play at Quad Cities Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The next Chiefs home game is scheduled for Friday as they host Wisconsin for another three-game series.
