PEORIA, IL - With just five weeks to go before opening day, the Peoria Chiefs have announced that individual single game tickets will go on sale Friday, March 1 at 10:00 am. Tickets will be available at the Dozer Park Box Office, online at www.peoriachiefs.com and by calling 1-866-MYTICKET (1-866-698-4253).
After opening on the road, the Chiefs home opener is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 against Beloit at 6:35 pm and the franchise will celebrate the arrival of the seven millionth fan to attend a Midwest League game in Peoria. The lucky fan will receive a prize package with specific details to be announced soon. All fans will receive a 2019 Chiefs magnet schedule presented by Long John Silver's and A&W. Additional details and events for the home opener will be announced as the season approaches.
Tickets for the 2019 season are priced as follows: Dugout Box Seats are $15 for adults and $13 for kids 3-12. Field Box Seats are $13 for adults and $11 for kids 3-12. New this year are Reserved Seats for sections 101 and 102 that are $11 for adults and $9 for kids 3-12. Lawn Tickets are $9 for anyone age 3 and up.
One of the things we are excited about this season are the kids prices, which fans have asked about on surveys, and we are happy to introduce a special rate for our youngest fans," said Chiefs General Manager Jason Mott. "We also are trying something new this year with ticket insurance so that fans don't lose out when their plans change or something comes up last minute, as we all know can happen with families."
New this season is $3 ticket insurance on any full-price adult or kids ticket. For just $3 per ticket, fans can make their ticket fully transferable in case of emergency or if their plans change and they are unable to attend the game for which they bought in advance.
The 2019 weekly promotions are ready to be announced as well. Monday's will remain Half Price Monday's with $7.50 Dugout Seats, $6.50 Field Box Seats, $5.50 Reserved Seats and $4.50 Lawn Tickets.
New this year, Tuesday's will be Taco Tuesday's with $2 tacos at concession stands. Tuesday's also remain Thanks For Your Service Tuesday's as veterans and first responders can get up to four tickets for $3 each with a valid ID.
Wednesday's remain a Bang For your Buck Wednesday presented by CityLink with $1 hot dogs, $1 popcorn and $1 ice cream sandwiches.
The Beer and Brat Thirsty Thursday promotion is back on the schedule with $2 12 ounce domestic beer and soda, $3 margaritas and brats and $4 16 ounce craft drafts. College students can get a $5 ticket on Thursday with a valid student ID. Thursday's are also Taco Bell Live Mas Thursday is back with a slight adjustment. Fans can bring a receipt showing a $5 minimum purchase at any local Taco Bell over the last seven days to get a buy one, get one free ticket with a limit of two free tickets per transaction.
New this year are Happy Hour Friday's. Fans can start the weekend with drink specials from when gates open until the first pitch of the game. The Family Four Pack Friday is back with four tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs for just $70.
Sunday's are all about families and kids with PNC Kids Sunday's, Bark in the Park Sunday's and Senior Sunday's. Kids 12 and under get $5 tickets, can play catch on the field pre-game and run the bases post game except for Helicopter Drop days and June 30 Fireworks night. Chiefs players will sign autographs post-game on the concourse, available for all fans. Fans 55 and over get $5 tickets to Sunday game when buying in person at the box office. And fans can bring their dog to any Sunday home game for free again this season, but dogs are limited to the lawn areas.
