2021

Enjoyed four Major League stints...Became Washington’s every day second baseman from July 29 through the end of the season... From Aug. 31 through the end of the season, he led the National League with 12 doubles...He was tied with Jose Altuve and Whit Merrifield for the Major League lead...He added a triple and three home runs during this stretch and was tied for ninth in the National League with 16 extra-base hits...García capped the 2021 season hitting .293 (17-for-58) with five doubles, one home run, 11 RBI, one walk and six runs scored across his last 15 games...He hit safely in 11 of the 15 games...Recorded his first career multi-HR game, Aug. 4 vs. Philadelphia...At 21 years, 80 days old, became the youngest player in MLB to have a two-homer game since Juan Soto (8/18, 2019 vs. MIL)... 2019

Spent the season with Double-A Harrisburg and led them with 129 games played, 135 hits, four triples (tied), 11 stolen bases and 66 runs scored... At 19 years old, was the youngest player in the Eastern League, where he ranked tied for second in hits and seventh in runs scored... From May 30 through the end of the season, he hit .282 with 17 doubles, three triples, four homers, 22 RBI and 43 runs scored in 81 games... Was selected by the Nationals as the Minor League Defensive Player of the Year.

2018

Ranked fifth among Nationals farmhands, hitting .298 in 127 games between Single-A Hagerstown and Single-A Potomac...Was promoted to Potomac on July 4...At the time of his promotion, was leading Hagerstown with 31 RBI... Was selected to participate in the 2018 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game...Was the youngest player in both the South Atlantic League (17 years old) and Carolina League (18 years old)...Following the season, was rated by Baseball America as the No. 3 prospect in the Carolina League and the No. 2 prospect in the South Atlantic League ...Entered the season rated by Baseball America as the No. 6 prospect in Washington's system.
