In addition to the nine former Sea Dogs on the Red Sox active roster, four former Sea Dogs are listed on the Red Sox injured list to open the season. Another 11 former Sea Dogs are part of the teams’ taxi squad for the season working out at the teams’ alternative site in Pawtucket, RI. Two former Sea Dogs’ coaches are also part of the Red Sox major league coaching staff in 2020. The Red Sox will open the 2020 season on Friday, July 24th at 7:30 PM hosting the Baltimore Orioles.
