Trenton completes sweep, 5-1 on Wednesday
Trenton, NJ - The Trenton Thunder (85-43) completed a three-game sweep of the Portland Sea Dogs (59-68), taking the series finale, 5-1, Wednesday afternoon at Arm & Hammer Park. Portland lost all seven games on the roadtrip and was officially eliminated from the post-season.

Trenton scored twice off Owens in the third inning. The first run scored on a wild pitch.
Portland was outscored 30-7 on the roadtrip, and have lost eight straight road games.
The Portland Sea Dogs open up a five-game series in four days with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (Mets affiliate) on Thursday night at Hadlock Field. RHP
