Community Events:
Splash, players, or members of the front office visited the following events during the month of December:
o Lodi Tree Lighting and the Parade of Lights - 12/1
o Ribbon Cutting at Brookside Country Club - 12/1
o Stockton Heat's Frankie The Firebird's Birthday Party - 12/3 o Ribbon Cutting at Taps Bar & Grill - 12/5
o Parents By Choice Foster Family Holiday Party - 12/12
o Bell Ringing with the Salvation Army - 12/16
o "Coats For Kids" hosted by 105.9 The Bull - 12/22

Upcoming Events:
o Baseball By The Books school visits kick-off - 1/5 o Oakland A's Fan Fest - 1/28

o 6 non-profit organizations received 4 Field Box ticket vouchers to one 2017 Ports' home game
o Ex. Community Foundation of San Joaquin, Walter Woodward Elementary, and The Arc of Amador and Calaveras
o 100 ticket vouchers to one 2017 Ports' home game were donated to the Stockton Police Department and individuals (1 voucher per person) who brought toys to the Stockton Police Youth Activities annual Christmas Toy Drive

Community Programs:
Baseball By The Books

o Enrollment for the Ports' reading program closed on December 9th. As of now, the program will serve approximately 35,000 students and will consist of over 30 reading assemblies on school campuses county-wide.

Stockton Police Youth Activities Annual Christmas Toy Drive
o In partnership with Stockton Police Department, the Ports had a bin located in the front office for toy donations.
o Each person who donated an item received one ticket voucher for a 2017 Ports game upon drop off of the item. The Ports also donated ticket vouchers to the officers involved in delivering the collected items to the families in need. The Ports donated a total of 100 ticket vouchers to the cause
o The Stockton Police Youth Activities annual Christmas Toy Drive benefits children affected by violent crime. The toy drive is in honor of the late Officer Matt Smith who passed away on May 8, 2010 after a long bout with cancer. Stockton PD and partners collected new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages from December 1st through December 23rd
